Taking out my stress on sad books and soppy movies. The only thing missing now is a tub of ice cream.
Someone got me Disney Princess silly baaaaands (Hello, this is way overdue but thank you!)
This summer was not stress-free at all. Ugh I am so mad at so many things and circumstances (I figured getting mad at people would not be worth it).
“Gusto niyo ng sundae?” dad asks me and my sister.
Neither of us wants a sundae so we shake our heads no.
“Ayaw niyo?” he asks us again. Clearly, he wants a sundae but doesn’t want to get just one for himself.
“Balita ko may bagong flavor, yung chocolate mousse….”
That got our attention and we agreed to get a sundae each.

He came back with three plain, old hot fudge cups.
“Hindi ‘to mukhang choco mousse…” I pointed out the obvious.
“Ah, ganun ba? Sa Jollibee pala yun, hehehe,” he says as he happily digs in to his much-awaited dessert, without even looking at me.
So of course I chose to start with food. Aaah, there was seafood for every meal! And I really liked their native chicken. Someone sold us this thick syrup that tasted like the sauce of a special suman. It was served in a cup made of kawayan and although it was a small one, I don’t believe one person could finish the entire thing because it’s very sweet. Tita made her own suman, too. The best part is we ate all of these at a beach!
I had seen, tasted, smelled, felt, and heard so much in the span of two days. There’s so much to share, I don’t know where to start!

I had to stop what I was doing when I saw how the sky looked from the building I was in this evening. I was too much at awe but also equally frustrated I didn’t bring my camera along that the moment I went home, I went to Paint and did this and didn’t care how crappy it looked as long as I got the colors right!!! Seriously though, it was too awesome.
